First of all, Be Safe! If you’re involved in an accident, make sure your engine is off and it will be safe to get out and investigate.
Call the police 911. Get all the information the officer gives you including name, address, insurance company from all drivers involved. You will be required to give your information as well. Be sure and get the police report number. In some cases no officer can respond-all you can do is trade information with other driver and take pictures of the scene with your phone. A witness is a good idea, too.
If your car is drivable (the officer can tell) continue with your day.
If your vehicle is not drivable, the officer will arrange a tow truck to pick it up or you can request Henry’s towing – 417-882-4559 and take it to Dings. They have access to our secure lot.
We will pay the tow bill and include it on the repair bill for the ins, co.
The next step is call us at 417-886-0151. All insurance companies are different and we know how to make it easier for you to get back on the road.
We can also help you if don’t have insurance coverage.
